Zionist Defence Systems Expand Moroccan Military Build-Up Amid Western Sahara Occupation, Reports Say
Zionist and Arab media reports state that Morocco has become one of the key importers of Zionist air defence systems, in parallel with what the sources describe as an ongoing military build-up reinforcing its position in Western Sahara.
According to data published by the Zionist economic daily Haaretz, Morocco is among the countries that have acquired the Zionist “Barak” air defence system, developed by “Israel Aerospace Industries,” alongside the United Arab Emirates, Azerbaijan, Germany, Cyprus and Slovakia.
The reports indicate a continued surge in international demand for Zionist defence systems in recent years, particularly following their operational deployment in recent conflicts, contributing to a marked expansion in export activity.
The same reporting further states that Morocco’s growing acquisition of Zionist military technologies comes amid intensified criticism over the use of advanced weaponry in Western Sahara, where Rabat is consolidating its control over the territory and deploying surveillance and military capabilities in areas adjacent to the military barrier.
The reports also cite systems including the “Iron Dome,” the laser-based interception system “Magen Or,” and unmanned aerial surveillance platforms produced by Elbit Systems, supplied to multiple international clients.
