Egypt Opens Long-Term Multi-Entry Visa for Algerians to Boost Travel and Mobility

Egypt has introduced a long-term, multi-entry visa for Algerian nationals, in a move aimed at facilitating travel and strengthening people-to-people ties between the two countries.
The Egyptian Embassy in Algiers said in a statement that the new visa regime reflects what it described as the “distinguished” relations between Algeria and Egypt and is intended to promote mobility and bilateral exchanges.
The visa is valid for five years and allows multiple entries, with each stay permitting up to 180 days. It places no limit on the number of entries during the validity period, offering greater flexibility for travel, short-term stays and repeated visits.
The embassy said the initiative is designed to ease travel procedures and encouraged Algerian citizens to take advantage of the new arrangement to visit Egypt, which it referred to as their “second country”.
