ENAD Takes Over Recovered Automotive Fluids Unit In Tissemsilt Under ACS Holding

ENAD has taken over production lines for automotive maintenance fluids following the integration of a Tissemsilt-based unit into the portfolio of Algerian Chemical Specialties Holding (ACS Holding), the Ministry of Industry said on Sunday.
The transfer of the unit, which produces various vehicle maintenance fluids, was formalised through a handover protocol after its recovery under a final judicial ruling, the ministry said. The document was signed by ENAD’s chief executive and the director of state property for Tissemsilt, in the presence of the holding company’s chief executive.
The ministry said the move is part of ACS Holding’s programme to reintegrate recovered assets into the national economy, in line with directives from the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
It said this is the fourth such transfer involving assets recovered under final court rulings, describing it as an additional industrial asset for the group.
The ministry added that the state continues efforts to recover and redeploy confiscated industrial assets to support domestic production, reduce imports, create jobs and improve the competitiveness of local firms.
