Final University Enrolment Opens for Algeria’s 2026 Baccalaureate Graduates
Algeria’s Higher Education Ministry has launched fully digital final university enrolment for 2026 baccalaureate holders, allowing students to complete registration remotely, obtain virtual student cards and access university services without submitting paper documents or visiting campuses.

ALGIERS — Algeria’s Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced that final university enrolment for students who passed the 2026 Baccalaureate Examination officially opened on Wednesday, August 5, with all registration procedures to be completed entirely online.
According to a ministry statement, the final registration process will run from 00:00 on August 5 until August 10, 2026, without requiring applicants to submit paper documents or physically visit higher education institutions.
Students will be able to complete their registration through the PROGRES digital platform after paying the mandatory registration fees exclusively via the Edahabia payment card.
Upon completion of the registration process, students will be able to obtain their virtual student card directly on their smartphones, enabling immediate access to university and academic services.
The ministry said the PROGRES platform can be accessed through its official portal or by scanning the QR code published on the ministry’s official communication channels, including its website and the official page of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The ministry stressed that the entire procedure will be conducted remotely within a fully digital environment, allowing newly admitted students to complete all formalities without travelling to their assigned universities.
Once their registration has been validated, students will immediately gain access to the full range of academic and university services.
The launch of final enrolment follows the completion of the preliminary registration and orientation process, during which 97% of newly admitted baccalaureate holders secured placement during the first allocation phase. A second orientation round was subsequently organised for the remaining candidates, the ministry added.
