Moroccan Pro-Palestine Group Rejects Reported Participation in Gaza “Stabilization Force”
Morocco’s Front for the Support of Palestine and Against Normalization has rejected reports of potential Moroccan participation in a proposed international “stabilization force” for Gaza, arguing that such a role would conflict with its support for the Palestinian cause. The group also renewed its criticism of Morocco’s normalization policy with the Zionist entity and called for continued public mobilization against normalization.

ALGIERS- The Moroccan Front for the Support of Palestine and Against Normalization has rejected reports suggesting that Morocco could participate in a proposed “stabilization force” for the Gaza Strip, describing any such involvement as incompatible with the Palestinian cause and Morocco’s long-standing public support for Palestinian rights.
In a statement issued by its national secretariat, the organization said any Moroccan military or security participation in such a force would serve Zionist and U.S. objectives in post-war Gaza rather than the interests of the Palestinian people.
Group rejects reported security role in Gaza
The Front argued that deploying Moroccan personnel under the framework of a stabilization mission would place Morocco in a security role that, according to the organization, would not reflect the views of large segments of Moroccan society supportive of the Palestinian cause.
It urged continued public vigilance against normalization with the Zionist entity and called on supporters to maintain peaceful mobilization against policies that strengthen bilateral ties between Rabat and Tel Aviv.
Criticism of Gaza war and international response
The organization also condemned the Zionist entity’s ongoing atrocities in Gaza, describing it as a violation of international law and ceasefire understandings. It criticized continued military operations, strikes on civilian infrastructure, and targeted killings of Palestinian resistance leaders.
The statement further criticized the interception of humanitarian convoys and flotillas attempting to reach Gaza, as well as the detention of international activists involved in such initiatives, arguing that these actions have worsened the humanitarian situation in the enclave.
Opposition to normalization
The Front reiterated its opposition to Morocco’s normalization process with the criminal entity, maintaining that any political, security or military cooperation which undermines Palestinian national rights should be rejected.
It concluded by expressing support for the resilience of the Palestinian people and reaffirmed its backing for Palestinian self-determination and independence.
