SITEV 2026 to Gather 450 Exhibitors and 41 Countries in Algiers Tourism Showcase

Algeria will host the 25th International Tourism and Travel Fair (SITEV) from 18–21 May 2026 at the Safex exhibition centre in Algiers, with 450 exhibitors and participants from 41 countries, the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts said.
The event will take place under the theme “Algeria, Authentic Tourism and Sustainable Development”.
Organised under Tourism Minister Houria Meddahi, SITEV brings together travel operators, hotel groups, transport firms, financial institutions and tourism agencies.
The edition will include around 50 start-ups focused on digital tourism services.
The ministry said the fair is intended to promote Algeria’s tourism sector ahead of the 2026 summer season and support domestic and international visitor flows.
Algerian artisans, including participants from southern regions, will also be featured.
