Tebboune Awards Erdoğan Algeria’s Highest National Merit Distinction In Ankara

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune awarded Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan the “Athir” Medal of Algeria’s National Order of Merit on Thursday in Ankara, recognising Erdoğan’s role in advancing Algerian-Turkish strategic partnership and his initiatives supporting regional and international peace and security.
The distinction comes during Tebboune’s official visit to Turkey, where both leaders are overseeing the launch of the Algerian-Turkish High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council amid rapidly expanding bilateral political and economic ties.
