Algeria Launches First Sector-Specific Media Channel for Vocational Training
The Ministry of Vocational Training and Education has launched “Mihan TV”, Algeria’s first sector-specific media channel, to promote vocational education, showcase training opportunities and strengthen links between skills development, employment and entrepreneurship.

ALGIERS — Algeria has launched its first sector-specific media channel, Mihan TV, dedicated to vocational training and education as part of broader efforts to increase the visibility of the sector and support workforce development.
The channel was officially inaugurated on Thursday by Vocational Training and Education Minister Nassima Arhab at the National Institute of Vocational Training and Education in El Biar, Algiers.
Arhab said the initiative forms part of the implementation of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s directives to strengthen the presence of the vocational training sector in the national media landscape.
According to the minister, Mihan TV will highlight vocational trades, training programmes and career pathways available to young people and trainees, while promoting greater awareness of opportunities within Algeria’s vocational education system.
The platform is also intended to facilitate professional integration by providing information that helps guide young people towards employment and entrepreneurship, while modernising the ministry’s institutional communication and strengthening engagement with the country’s economic and industrial sectors.
