ALGIERS — Algeria’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion has announced the launch of a new digital platform dedicated to processing services import applications, with the system scheduled to become operational on August 1, 2026, as part of the government’s ongoing programme to accelerate digital transformation across the sector.
According to a ministry statement, the platform forms part of wider efforts to modernise public administration, simplify administrative procedures and improve services provided to economic operators through fully digital processes.
The new platform will serve as a unified digital gateway for the submission, processing and monitoring of all applications related to the import of services. The ministry said the initiative is designed to shorten application processing times, improve administrative efficiency and enhance the overall quality of services delivered to businesses.
Under the new system, all procedures and transactions related to services imports will be handled exclusively through the digital platform from August 1, replacing previous administrative channels.
Economic operators will be able to access the platform and submit their applications electronically through the dedicated portal established by the ministry.
The initiative represents another step in Algeria’s broader digitalisation agenda, which aims to modernise public administration, reduce paperwork, increase transparency and provide businesses with faster and more efficient access to government services.
