Algerian Police Launch 2026 Recruitment Competition Across Multiple Specialisations

ALGIERS – Algeria’s General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) has announced the opening of a recruitment competition for civilian personnel for the 2026 intake, offering positions across several professional fields through both qualification-based and examination-based selection procedures.
According to a statement issued by the National Police, the recruitment campaign covers a range of sectors and specialisations, including public administration, translation, information technology, water resources, wired and wireless telecommunications, and healthcare-related disciplines.
The initiative forms part of the National Police’s efforts to strengthen its human resources capacity and support the operational needs of its various services through the recruitment of qualified personnel in strategic and technical fields.
The DGSN indicated that candidates may download and print application forms and consult recruitment requirements through the official website of the Algerian National Police as well as its digital communication platforms and social media channels.
The security authority further specified that applications are to be submitted to the provincial human resources departments of the National Police, in accordance with the staffing requirements and needs of the respective services concerned.
