She described this relationship as a fundamental pillar for building an effective and credible legislative institution, adding that stronger citizen engagement would contribute to consolidating political action and strengthening parliamentary performance.In Tébessa, Djamel Benziadi, president of the Party for Liberty and Justice (PLJ), said the upcoming legislative elections represented an opportunity to reinforce Algeria’s democratic process. He described the vote as an important occasion for citizens to elect their representatives and communicate their concerns through constitutional institutions.Addressing supporters in Jijel, Louisa Hanoune, secretary-general of the Workers’ Party (PT), encouraged voters to participate in large numbers, arguing that a parliament derives greater legitimacy and strength from high electoral participation. She reaffirmed her party’s commitment to defending the interests of all segments of society while safeguarding national achievements and protecting the country’s resources.At a campaign rally in Laghouat, Fateh Boutbig, president of the Future Front (Front El-Moustakbel), likewise urged citizens to cast their ballots, stating that higher voter participation strengthens state institutions. He also highlighted investment in human capital as a strategic priority for the country’s future development.Meanwhile, in Bou Saâda, Abdelali Hassani Cherif, president of the Movement of Society for Peace (MSP), said a strong turnout would send a message reflecting national cohesion and the Algerian people’s constructive participation in important constitutional milestones. He added that his party remains committed to promoting the development potential and specific characteristics of every region of the country.During a press conference at his party’s headquarters in Algiers, Ali Boukhezna, president of the National Accord Movement (MEN), described participation in elections as both a civic right and a national duty, saying it reflects political awareness and contributes to preserving the country’s democratic process. He added that addressing citizens’ concerns remains among his party’s principal priorities.In Mila, Monder Bouden, secretary-general of the National Democratic Rally (RND), called on voters to support his party’s candidates in order to establish a strong parliamentary bloc capable of sustaining national development efforts and responding to citizens’ expectations.Speaking in Sétif, Tahar Benbaïbeche, president of El Fadjr El Djadid, encouraged young people to become more actively involved in political life, stressing that participation in the 2 July legislative elections is essential for advancing Algeria’s reform process. He also underscored the importance of parliament as the institutional expression of the people’s will.At a campaign gathering in Tizi Ouzou, Lamine Osmani, president of Sawt Echaab, said his party seeks to promote responsible citizenship through elected representatives capable of conveying and defending public aspirations. He added that candidate selection had been conducted in accordance with strict internal criteria established by the party.Meanwhile, in Bouira, Atmane Mazouz, president of the Rally for Culture and Democracy (RCD), reaffirmed his party’s commitment to representing citizens’ concerns within the next National People’s Assembly.
