Algerian Red Crescent Launches Nationwide Support Campaign for Baccalaureate Candidates

According to a statement from the humanitarian organisation, the initiative includes the distribution of water, beverages and refreshments to candidates outside exam centres, alongside the provision of free transport in selected regions to facilitate access to examination sites.
The CRA said it has also mobilised psychological support units staffed by trained volunteers to assist candidates during the examination period. Several regional committees have additionally opened their premises to students, offering spaces for rest, revision and concentration throughout the duration of the exams.
The campaign forms part of the CRA’s broader social mandate, particularly in the education sector, and is presented as an effort to reinforce solidarity and community support for students during a key national academic milestone.
The organisation described the initiative as reflecting its humanitarian role and commitment to civic engagement, mutual assistance, and support for younger generations.
