ALGIERS — President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defence, chaired a meeting of Algeria’s High Security Council on Thursday, bringing together the country’s senior state officials to review strategic matters related to national security and regional developments.
The session formed part of the state’s ongoing monitoring of strategic national security dossiers and the assessment of key issues of national and regional importance.
The gathering reflects the continued attention of Algeria’s highest authorities to security-related challenges and evolving regional dynamics, within the broader framework of safeguarding national stability and protecting the country’s strategic interests.
