Algeria’s “Inter ligne Algérie” Set for Continental Spotlight at African Digital Content Summit in Addis Ababa
By Dr. Hana Saada
Algerian digital media will be present at the African Content Creators and Social Media Summit 2026, scheduled to take place on 7–8 May in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, through the participation of the platform Inter ligne Algérie.
Increasingly recognised as an emerging reference in the national digital media landscape, Inter ligne Algérie has, over recent years, consolidated its position through analytical coverage of both domestic and continental affairs, adopting a digital storytelling approach that combines editorial precision with thematic depth.
The summit, organised by the “Nabd Africa” – “Pulse of Africa” platform in partnership with “Aga Tech”, is expected to bring together content creators, digital journalists, entrepreneurs, and influencers from across the continent. The event aims to examine the evolving dynamics of Africa’s digital economy, with a particular focus on structural opportunities and regulatory challenges shaping the sector.
Within this framework, Inter ligne Algérie is expected to contribute to discussions on several key issues, notably the growing challenge of information credibility in an environment defined by the rapid circulation of online content. The platform will also address the economic sustainability of digital ecosystems, including monetisation models for media platforms, as well as the prospects for strengthening digital connectivity and integration between North African countries and the wider African continent.
The participation comes at a time when African digital spaces are undergoing accelerated transformation, driven by technological diffusion, shifting audience behaviour, and the expansion of platform-based economies, positioning media actors as increasingly central stakeholders in shaping informational and economic flows.
