Attaf discusses bilateral ties with Chadian counterpart

Algeria’s minister of state and foreign minister, Ahmed Attaf, held talks in Algiers on Tuesday with Chad’s foreign minister, Abdoulaye Sabre Fadoul, ahead of co-chairing the fourth session of the Algeria–Chad joint government commission, according to a foreign ministry statement.
The discussions reviewed the breadth of bilateral relations and explored ways to elevate co-operation in line with the guidance of the two countries’ leaders, Abdelmadjid Tebboune and Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno.
The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern, including developments in the Sahel-Saharan region, the situation in the Middle East and the latest developments in the Palestinian question.
