General Chanegriha Honors Top Nation’s Cadets Schools Baccalaureate Graduates
The Army General praised the outstanding academic achievements of the Nation’s Cadets, who recorded a 100% pass rate in the 2026 Baccalaureate examinations, reaffirming that developing highly qualified national elites remains a strategic priority for Algeria amid evolving regional and international challenges.

ALGIERS – Army General Saïd Chanegriha, Algeria’s Delegate Minister to the Minister of National Defence and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (ANP), on Tuesday honored the Nation’s Cadets who distinguished themselves in the 2026 Baccalaureate examinations, conveying President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s congratulations and reaffirming the state’s commitment to developing a new generation of highly qualified national elites.
Speaking during a ceremony held at the headquarters of the Ministry of National Defence, Chanegriha praised the exceptional academic performance achieved by the Nation’s Cadets schools, describing it as a reflection of Algeria’s sustained investment in excellence, merit and national service.
He conveyed President Tebboune’s congratulations to the successful cadets, wishing them continued achievement throughout their academic and professional careers.
“I am pleased to convey to you the congratulations of Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defence, who wishes you continued success and excellence in your educational and professional journey,” Chanegriha said, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of National Defence.
The Army General also extended his own congratulations to the graduates, commending what he described as their remarkable accomplishment and dedication.
The ministry highlighted that the Nation’s Cadets schools maintained their outstanding record, with female cadets once again achieving a 100% pass rate in the 2026 Baccalaureate examinations, reaffirming what Chanegriha described as their unwavering determination to excel.
He stressed that developing national competencies and future leaders remains one of Algeria’s foremost strategic priorities, enabling the country to prepare highly qualified executives imbued with patriotism, institutional values and the capacity to contribute to national development.
Chanegriha noted that Algeria’s rapidly evolving regional and international environment requires competent and well-trained human resources capable of addressing future challenges and supporting the country’s continued modernization.
He said the High Command of the People’s National Army places particular emphasis on nurturing military excellence through the Nation’s Cadets schools, which annually admit students from across Algeria based exclusively on merit and equal opportunity, with selection determined through entrance examinations, academic performance and physical and psychological aptitude.
According to the Army Chief of Staff, the military leadership has invested extensively in modern educational infrastructure, advanced scientific and pedagogical methods, and high-level military and academic supervision to prepare future officers capable of assuming senior responsibilities within the armed forces.
The ceremony concluded with Chanegriha presenting awards to the highest-achieving cadets. A female cadet and a male cadet delivered speeches on behalf of their classmates before the Army General posed for a commemorative photograph with the award recipients.
The event was attended by senior military officials, including commanders of the Land Forces, National Gendarmerie and Republican Guard, senior officials from the Ministry of National Defence and the ANP General Staff, as well as the families of the honored cadets.
