Legislative Elections: Minister Sayoud Mobilises Interior Services Ahead of 2 July Vote

The Minister of Interior, Local Assemblies and Transport, Saïd Sayoud, has instructed his departments to ensure optimal preparedness for the successful organisation of the legislative elections scheduled for 2 July.
According to a statement issued by the ministry, the directive was given during a meeting chaired by the minister with senior central officials, where preparations for the forthcoming electoral process were reviewed in detail.
The minister called for a comprehensive and rigorously managed logistical deployment, emphasizing the need to mobilise all necessary resources at the level of local authorities to ensure the smooth conduct of the vote. The objective, he underlined, is to guarantee a fully operational framework capable of meeting the requirements of a major national electoral event.
Beyond electoral preparations, the meeting also addressed the status of development projects under various national programmes. In this context, the minister stressed the importance of accelerating administrative procedures related to ongoing projects, while reinforcing mechanisms of monitoring and ensuring continuous coordination between central services and local authorities.
