Naftal Assures Nationwide Availability of Vehicle Tyres Amid Efforts to Secure Supply for Transport Sector
State-owned energy distributor Naftal has confirmed the nationwide availability of tyres for heavy and light vehicles, saying it holds sufficient inventories to meet domestic demand while continuing to work with transport unions to ensure uninterrupted supplies and support Algeria’s transport sector.

ALGIERS — Algeria’s state-owned energy distribution company Naftal has reaffirmed the availability of tyres for both heavy-duty and passenger vehicles across its nationwide retail network, underscoring its commitment to ensuring uninterrupted market supplies and supporting the country’s transport sector.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the company said sufficient inventories are available to meet domestic demand and guarantee the continuous supply of tyres for transport operators and other customers under optimal conditions.
Naftal stressed that it responds promptly and positively to requests submitted by representatives of transport professionals, following a series of consultation and coordination meetings held with transport unions to address concerns related to the availability of tyres and lubricants.
The discussions focused on identifying practical solutions to ensure the continuity of supplies while improving coordination between the company and transport sector stakeholders.
The company also confirmed that it continues to implement the joint action plan agreed with transport unions through regular monitoring of the measures adopted, with the objective of ensuring that the operational needs of transport professionals are effectively met while strengthening long-term cooperation based on dialogue, mutual trust and coordination.
Reaffirming its economic and public service role, Naftal said it remains committed to providing products through its authorised nationwide network of sales outlets and will continue working closely with its institutional and professional partners to safeguard market stability, facilitate transport activity and support Algeria’s broader economic development objectives.
