Naftal Warns Against Fraudulent Tire Sales Platform

The national fuel distribution company Naftal has issued a warning regarding a fraudulent digital platform circulating on social media, which falsely claims to offer tire sales or reservations in the company’s name while requesting bank transfers and personal information.
In a statement, Naftal clarified that the only official platform authorized for tire-related services is its website: e-mahata.naftal.dz.
The company stressed that payments are never made in advance via bank transfers or money transfers, and are instead carried out exclusively using Edahabia or bank cards at the time of customer appointment for tire collection at designated Naftal centres.
Naftal urged citizens to exercise caution, avoid interacting with suspicious links or pages, and verify all information exclusively through its official communication channels.
It also encouraged users to report any fraudulent pages impersonating the company via its official social media accounts or through its call centre at 3305.
The company further stated that it reserves the right to pursue legal action against any individuals or entities misusing its name or brand for fraudulent purposes.
