South Sudan Approves Farid Ouahid Dahmane as Algeria’s New Ambassador to Juba
The South Sudanese government has approved the appointment of Farid Ouahid Dahmane as Algeria’s ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to South Sudan, with residence in Nairobi, Algeria’s Foreign Ministry said.

JUBA — The government of South Sudan has approved the appointment of Farid Ouahid Dahmane as Algeria’s ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the country, with residence in Nairobi, Algeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Sunday.
The approval, known diplomatically as agrément, formally clears the way for Dahmane to assume Algeria’s ambassadorial post to South Sudan while maintaining his residence in the Kenyan capital.
The appointment comes within Algeria’s broader diplomatic engagement across Africa and its efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and diplomatic representation on the continent.
