The farewell meetings formed part of the customary diplomatic protocol observed at the conclusion of an ambassador’s posting, providing an opportunity for the departing envoys to reflect on their tenure in Algeria while reaffirming the importance of bilateral relations.

The meetings also underscored Algeria’s continued commitment to deepening cooperation with Colombia, Norway and Vietnam across a range of sectors.

The engagements come as Algeria continues to pursue an active foreign policy aimed at diversifying its international partnerships, expanding political dialogue and strengthening economic, energy, cultural and development cooperation with countries across Latin America, Northern Europe and Asia.
