AAPI and High Commission for Digitisation sign agreement to develop Algeria’s digital investment one-stop shop
By Dr. Hana Saada
ALGIERS — Algeria on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding to accelerate the digital transformation of the investment single-window system and strengthen the national investment platform.
The agreement was concluded between Minister of the High Commission for Digitisation Meriem Benmiloud and Director General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency Omar Rekkache, on the sidelines of a government information day held under the supervision of Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb.
The accord establishes an integrated digital architecture linking institutions involved in investment processing, with unified procedures for project registration, land management, investor services, complaints, monitoring, reporting, electronic payment and digital signature, alongside full interconnection with public administrations.
It also places AAPI systems on the State sovereign cloud infrastructure at the National Centre for Digital Services, securing economic data hosting and consolidating data sovereignty.
Officials said the system aims to reduce processing times, unify administrative workflows and enable real-time tracking of investment procedures within a fully digitalised environment.
The initiative forms part of broader state efforts to restructure public administration and streamline investment governance through end-to-end digital integration.
