Algeria–Slovakia Consultations Aim to Lay Foundations for Strong Economic Partnership

Algiers — Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs Ahmed Attaf received on Wednesday in Algiers the Slovak Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Marek Estok.
The meeting reviewed the results of the third session of political consultations between Algeria and Slovakia, co-chaired earlier in the day by the Slovak Secretary of State and the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lounès Magramane.
The meeting also addressed the “positive dynamic” characterising bilateral relations within the framework of the implementation of the roadmap agreed upon during the official visit of the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs to Slovakia in December last year.
The roadmap aims to strengthen the institutional and legal framework of Algerian-Slovak relations and to lay the foundations for a solid economic partnership in several priority and vital sectors, according to the statement.
