Algeria’s Industry Minister Yahia Bachir inaugurates two industrial units in Oum El Bouaghi

Algerian Industry Minister Yahia Bachir has inaugurated two industrial units in the eastern province of Oum El Bouaghi during a working visit focused on industrial development.
According to official details, the minister, accompanied by local authorities, opened a factory in the commune of Aïn M’lila producing air filters for vehicles, with an annual capacity exceeding 2.5 million units.
He also inaugurated an automotive spare parts and accessories manufacturing and assembly unit in Ouled Gacem, which produces around 600,000 units per year and employs 44 workers. On site, Mr Bachir stressed the need to comply with quality standards, conduct market studies and explore export opportunities, reiterating support for local industrial investment.
During the visit, the minister inspected additional industrial facilities in Aïn M’lila, including a battery manufacturing plant with an annual capacity of one million units and a radiator production facility for vehicle engines.
He later continued his tour in Meskiana, where he visited a washing and combing unit, as part of a broader review of industrial activity across the province.
