Algeria’s National Cadets Schools Post 99.11% Baccalaureate Pass Rate, Chanegriha Hails Results
Algeria’s National Cadets Schools recorded a 99.11% pass rate in the 2026 baccalaureate examinations, with female cadets achieving a perfect 100%, prompting Army Chief of Staff Saïd Chanegriha to commend the students and staff for what the Defence Ministry described as “highly commendable” results.

Algeria’s National Cadets Schools recorded a 99.11% pass rate in the June 2026 baccalaureate examinations, with female cadets achieving a perfect 100% success rate, according to a statement issued on Sunday by the Ministry of National Defence (MDN).
The ministry said the schools once again delivered outstanding academic results, maintaining a consistently high level of performance in the national examinations.
Among the top achievers, Cadet Guedrez Ziad, from the National Cadets School of Béjaïa in the Fifth Military Region, obtained an average score of 18.97/20 in Experimental Sciences. The ministry also reported a 100% pass rate among candidates in the Mathematics stream.
Chanegriha Congratulates Successful Candidates
On the occasion of the announcement of the results, General of the Army Saïd Chanegriha, Delegate Minister to the Minister of National Defence and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (ANP), congratulated the successful candidates and the educational and administrative staff who contributed to the achievement.
According to the ministry’s statement, Chanegriha praised the schools’ “highly commendable” results and wished the graduates continued success and excellence in their future academic and professional careers.
The National Cadets Schools combine secondary education with military training and have consistently ranked among Algeria’s highest-performing educational institutions in national examinations.
