ALGIERS — President of the People’s National Assembly (APN), Brahim Boughali, on Sunday congratulated Algeria’s national football team on securing qualification for the Round of 32 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, describing the achievement as fully deserved and commending the team’s performances throughout the group stage.
In a message shared on his official social media platforms, Boughali praised the Fennecs for their determination and competitive display, extending his congratulations following Algeria’s successful progression to the knockout phase.
“I warmly congratulate our national team on this well-deserved qualification for the next round of the FIFA World Cup,” Boughali said. “It is an honorable achievement that deserves our utmost respect. I wish the Fennecs (Desert Warriors) every success as they continue their journey and proudly carry Algeria’s flag on the international stage.”
The Speaker of the APN also encouraged the national squad to maintain the high standards they demonstrated during the group stage, expressing confidence in their ability to continue representing Algeria with distinction as the tournament enters its decisive knockout rounds.
Boughali concluded his message by wishing the Desert Warriors continued success in the remainder of their World Cup campaign, urging them to preserve the fighting spirit and commitment that have earned them widespread admiration while continuing to raise Algeria’s colors on the global football stage.
