ALGIERS — Political party leaders continued their electoral outreach on Sunday as the campaign for the legislative elections scheduled for July 2 entered its 13th day, delivering a series of statements across several wilayas highlighting participation, governance priorities, and institutional renewal.

Abdelkrim Benmbarek, Secretary-General of the National Liberation Front (FLN), speaking in Mostaganem, stressed that “every vote is a responsibility entrusted by voters and every seat represents a commitment to serve the nation.”

From M’sila, Mounder Bouden, Secretary-General of the National Democratic Rally (RND), said RND candidates are committed, if elected, to continuing efforts aimed at consolidating economic and social achievements.

In Mascara, Fateh Boutbig, President of El Moustakbal Front, expressed hope that the upcoming legislative elections would produce a strong parliament capable of fully exercising its legislative mandate.

In Médéa, Abdelali Hassani Cherif, President of the Movement of Society for Peace (MSP), emphasised that optimal utilisation of national human and economic potential would enable the creation of specialised hubs in agriculture, industry, and technology, describing them as key drivers of modern economies.

Louisa Hanoune, Secretary-General of the Workers’ Party (PT), speaking in Tizi Ouzou, called for preserving democratic gains through strong voter turnout on July 2.

Lamine Osmani, President of Sawt Echaâb, in Guelma, stated that broad participation would help elect a National People’s Assembly that reflects citizens’ aspirations.

Mohamed Daoui, President of El Karama Party, in Tizi Ouzou, underlined that future deputies must combine ethics and rigor in addressing citizens’ concerns.
