Djellaoui Reviews Public Works Projects Across Western Algeria

Algeria’s Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, Abdelkader Djellaoui, chaired a sectoral coordination meeting on Saturday to assess the progress of ongoing infrastructure projects across six western provinces and outline development priorities for the coming three years.
The review covered projects underway in the wilayas of Oran, Chlef, Mostaganem, Saïda, Mascara, Relizane and Ain Témouchent, according to a ministry statement.
The meeting also focused on drafting a forward-looking roadmap aligned with the infrastructure and development needs of the region, as authorities seek to accelerate implementation and improve project coordination.
The ministry said the session forms part of a broader national monitoring programme for sectoral projects ahead of a comprehensive report scheduled to be presented to the government before June 3.
