Energy Minister Mourad Adjal Calls for Accelerated Delivery of Strategic Sector Projects
During a high-level review meeting, the minister urged stakeholders to speed up implementation, strengthen project monitoring and ensure compliance with established deadlines across strategic energy sector initiatives.

ALGIERS, Algeria — Algeria’s Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, Mourad Adjal, chaired a high-level coordination meeting on Wednesday to review the progress of several strategic projects and partnership-related files under the ministry’s supervision, according to an official statement.
Held at the ministry’s headquarters, the meeting brought together senior ministry officials, executives from agencies and public enterprises operating under the energy sector, as well as representatives of the concerned partner.
Participants presented a series of technical and progress reports assessing the implementation status of projects included on the agenda, while reviewing the execution of previously adopted decisions and commitments.
During the meeting, Minister Adjal issued a number of directives aimed at accelerating the pace of implementation, reinforcing the monitoring and follow-up of strategic programmes and projects, and ensuring greater coordination among the parties involved.
He also stressed the importance of adhering to the established implementation timetable, underscoring the ministry’s commitment to ensuring the timely completion of projects that support the development of Algeria’s energy sector.
