ALGIERS, Algeria — Algeria’s Algerian Chemical Specialties Holding (ACS Holding) has announced that its subsidiary Tonic Industrie has successfully completed its fourth export operation to Tunisia this year, further reinforcing the group’s regional expansion strategy as the country intensifies efforts to diversify exports beyond hydrocarbons.
The shipment comprised more than 500,000 units of high-quality packaging and wrapping products, transported aboard four trucks and delivered in accordance with contractual commitments and scheduled timelines, the company said.
The latest transaction forms part of Tonic Industrie’s 2026 export programme, reflecting the subsidiary’s sustained commercial activity and the growing presence of Algerian industrial products across regional markets.
ACS Holding said the operation demonstrates increasing confidence among foreign commercial partners in the quality and competitiveness of Algerian manufactured goods while supporting the government’s strategy to expand non-energy exports and diversify the national economy.
The shipment follows another significant export milestone announced by the holding company only a day earlier. GIPEC Group, through its subsidiary SACAR, completed the export of more than 80,000 corrugated cardboard units to Mauritania, marking the group’s return to international markets for the product after an interruption of more than eight years.
Taken together, the successive export operations illustrate the accelerating commercial momentum across ACS Holding’s industrial portfolio and highlight the company’s growing contribution to Algeria’s strategy of expanding value-added manufacturing exports. They also reinforce the country’s ambition to strengthen the regional competitiveness of Made in Algeria products while broadening their presence across African and neighboring markets.
