The Mercenary Mouthpiece Hichem Aboud Descends into the Abyss of Depravity: When Political Opposition Degenerates into Attacks on Honour and Paid Service to the Makhzen

By Maamar Gani

For long, there existed a deeply rooted conviction that political rivalry was governed by ethical boundaries, and that opposition itself possessed limits beyond which the dignity of men could not descend — out of respect for themselves before their adversaries. Yet what the so-called Hichem Aboud has displayed in recent times places us before an incurable case of moral decay: a figure whose principles have corroded to the point where nothing remains but the croaking of treachery and the venom of hatred that has surpassed every red line.

A Descent into the Lowest Depths of Filth

Hichem Aboud no longer contents himself with throwing his servile existence into the embrace of Makhzen agendas, feeding from the crumbs of hostile intelligence tables in exchange for mortgaging his homeland. In the twilight of his life, he has instead chosen the very bottom as his final resting place.

His resort to targeting the honour of families and violating the sanctity of protected women with brazen vulgarity does not merely constitute a professional fall — it amounts to a symbolic death certificate for whatever remained of his humanity. It is the dance of a slaughtered man overtaken by despair, pouring poison into the honour of others after the wells of his thought had dried up and the dignity of his old age collapsed.

Treachery as Doctrine, Exile as the Fate of the Rejected

O lost soul wandering without honour: the cruellest fate awaiting a man in the autumn of his life is to possess neither a past worthy of pride nor a future capable of mercy. Aboud has squandered every element of belonging — honour, morality and homeland alike — transforming himself into a pliant instrument in the hands of agencies that regard him merely as a disposable tool for attacking the prestige of the Algerian state and its symbols.

Such conduct is not political opposition; it is the embodiment of misery and hopelessness. It is an implicit confession of incapacity to confront men in the arenas of thought and politics, leading him instead to wield the weapon of cowards: slander and attacks on honour, under the illusion that exile might shield him from the curse of history.

A Hollow Voice that Inspires Revulsion

Today, this figure has become a grotesque spectacle provoking disgust in the conscience of every free man. His propositions carry no weight, and his poisoned words leave no trace. He is nothing more than a desperate noise phenomenon, tormented by sleepless nights while fully aware of the magnitude of his disgrace.

The pain consuming him is not remorse, but the anguish of the outcast who knows with certainty that national memory will reject him as the sea rejects carrion, and that his name will endure only in association with betrayal and baseness.

A Message to the Distorted Replicas

Let Hichem Aboud — and all those who follow his path, these counterfeit replicas cloaked in the garments of opposition while practising moral degradation — understand that Algeria, preserved by the blood of millions, will forever remain beyond the reach of rented mouthpieces operating from capitals of betrayal.

To target the honour of Algeria’s leadership is a red line beyond which lie consequences. Whoever imagines that surrendering himself to hostile regimes will spare him the contempt of the Algerian people is profoundly deluded.

Final Word

You have become more deserving of pity than anger. For what could be uglier than a man living without honour, feeding upon the betrayal of his own people and selling his principles in the marketplace of political prostitution?

You are finished, Hichem Aboud. Nothing remains of you but scattered dust carried away by the winds of truth, while Algeria stands unshaken — proud through its principles and through its honourable men.
