USM Alger Clinch Record-Extending 10th Algerian Cup Title

USM Alger secured a record-extending 10th Algerian Cup title on Thursday, defeating CR Belouizdad 2–1 in the final.
The Algiers side sealed victory through a brace from Kamagati and Khaldi, with Belouizdad pulling one back in the 62nd minute but unable to overturn the deficit despite a stronger second-half showing.
The win consolidates USMA’s status as the most successful side in the competition, lifting the trophy for the tenth time in 19 final appearances.
President Abdelmadjid Tebboune attended the 59th edition final at Nelson Mandela Stadium, where he greeted players, coaching staff and match officials on the pitch ahead of kick-off.
He later joined senior state officials and government members in observing the national anthem, performed by a detachment of the Republican Guard, underscoring the ceremonial weight of the occasion.
