Police in Tizi Ouzou Seizes 3,703 Psychotropic Tablets in Drug Network Bust

Security services in the province of Tizi Ouzou have dismantled a drug trafficking network involved in the distribution of narcotics and psychotropic substances, according to a statement from local security services.
The operation, conducted in coordination with the competent public prosecutor’s office, followed intelligence indicating trafficking activity involving two suspects aged between 34 and 43.
Subsequent investigations led to their identification and arrest, with 3,703 capsules of psychotropic substances seized, alongside cash proceeds believed to be linked to the illicit trade.
The suspects were presented before the Tizi Ouzou public prosecutor and placed in pre-trial detention.
